Kubwa 

Why the name Kubwa?

Kubwa in Swahili means large, great, big, bulky, humongous, senior, mighty etc. 

Words which disciple the Boabab tree. The trunk is monstrously large with a diameter completely disproportionate to its height. Arab legend has it that the Boabab tree was plucked from the ground, turned upside down and pressed its Branches back into the earth and left the roots in the air.
